(Junior) Operations Manager - Greater China

This is what you'll do:

  • Drive the selection of and negotiations with production suppliers for both new and existing products
  • Proactively manage the relationships with all suppliers
  • Develop sustainable and efficient supply chain and logistic infrastructure for all markets
  • Work with the country manager to grow the delivery network required for business growth
  • Work with your team to provide the best delivery quality for our customers
  • Monitor the quality and performance of our customer deliveries to identify improvement opportunities
  • Devise an appropriate action plan and work with the suppliers to achieve continuous improvement to quality of delivery
  • Create and keep track of stock planning and forecast demand
  • Optimize logistic and warehouse costs

This is what you'll bring to us:

  • You are a self-starter and can work independently
  • You are fluent in Chinese and English
  • Work experience with the Chinese supply chain is preferred
  • You have successfully finished your studies, preferably a masters in logistics or supply chain management, or any related university program
  • You have a strong understanding of supply chain and production
  • You are analytically strong and have a strong appetite for making evidence-based rational decisions
  • You consider multiple aspects when making business-relevant, pragmatic decisions
  • Having practical working experience in a start-up environment comes in handy
  • You are fascinated by fast scalable business models
